ThreeDify Designer is a 3D modeling, viewing, and markup application that makes 3D and 3D CAD visualization easy and affordable.  ThreeDify Designer features an intuitive GUI and native import support for over 40 3D file formats.  Designer also provides support for over 30 2D image file formats. ThreeDify Designer is lightweight, at under 5 MB, (not including the help file), and starts up fast. Users can also download our IGES and STEP importer, or our import / export plug-in for additional file format support.

ThreeDify Designer is a dual mode application - it can run as a standalone or as an ActiveX control.  The entire application including its user interface can be embedded inside any ActiveX host, including Internet Explorer and Microsoft Office applications - or even applications you create.

In control mode, ThreeDify Designer stands head and shoulders above all competing 3D contols, by virtue of its built-in rich GUI and breadth of functionality.  All the functionality and GUI elements available in the application mode are equally accessible in the control mode. 

As a result, no user programming is required to make full use of ThreeDify Designer  in the control mode. 

Power users can script both the control and the standalone versions of ThreeDify Designer using its built-in automation interfaces for Visual Basic.

Another unique feature of ThreeDify Designer is its import/export plugin architecture using COM's Component Category technology that enables third party developers to independently develop their own ThreeDify Designer importers and exporters.

Last, but not the least, for users and developers who are often annoyed by large size ActiveX controls, ThreeDify Designer is written in ATL/WTL and is very compact in size, and unlike MFC or Java based plugins, it loads very quickly. All of this power is packed into DLL that weighs in at under 4MB.
